With the close of our first year in New Orleans, and the first quarter of 2022 coming to a close, Coast to Coast Events is excited for what is on the horizon. The past year marked one of record breaking for the marketing firm, with annual sales reaching towards the 1-million-dollar mark. Annual sales results were not the only marking that made our year a huge success, as the team has also collected awards! Cody Lowery, our fearless leader claimed "Consistency manager of the year" awarded by our clients, and managers throughout our organization have also been recognized for their stand out year.
“It is so rewarding to be able to provide our amazing team the opportunity, both professionally and financially, that they deserve! Exciting things are happening here at Coast to Coast Events! Due to the remarkable growth our marketing firm has acquired the past 10 years in Birmingham, we are pleased to announce our new office expansion in New Orleans, LA!
Cody Lowery opened Coast to Coast Events in 2012 with the goal of inspiring and empowering others in the field of network marketing. With the existing office located in Birmingham, the addition of the New Orleans office will help better meet the needs of Coast to Coast's growing clientele base in South.
“The decision to expand to New Orleans was based on the rapid and continued growth of our existing location in Alabama,” said Cody Lowery, founder of Coast to Coast Events. “When I opened Coast to Coast, my goal was to provide opportunity, and growth to people of all backgrounds in Central Alabama. I am looking forward to servicing a larger client base with the addition of our new Louisiana location.”
With an expanding market comes an expanding staff! Coast to Coast Events currently has positions open in both New Orleans, and Birmingham locations within the marketing, sales, and entry level management departments.

Can you keep a secret? Well, it’s not really a secret…but we are excited to announce that Coast to Coast Events has acquired a new national brand and will be taking on new clients in just a few weeks!
Although we can’t give you the name of this national brand (yet), we can give you some hints. This brand opened its first store in 1962 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As of February 2019, it boasted almost 2,000 stores nationwide. The brand also has four subsidiaries and earned over $75 million in revenue last fiscal year.
In addition, 75 percent of the U.S. population lives within 10 miles of one of the brand’s stores. As you can imagine, this means the brand sees an impressive number of customers daily. This means a huge increase in the number of people that our staff at Coast to Coast now has the opportunity to serve.
“I’m super excited about what this opportunity will mean for us,” said Director of Operations Cody Lowery. “For us to be able to expand into a new market is huge. We’re definitely going to be able to help a lot more people with their service, which is such a blessing.”

We’ll be there for you—how Coast to Coast Events could be your saving grace in these uncertain times
With businesses reopening across the state, it can be easy to forget sometimes that we’re still in the midst of a pandemic. The reality, though, is that COVID-19 is still all too prevalent. As of June 5, unemployment in the United States was at 13.3 percent; in Jefferson county alone, 3,302 unemployment claims were made in the same week. Although these numbers are showing improvement from record-high numbers in April and May, there are still far too many people out of work due to the virus. Many of them have been told they will be returning to their jobs once the pandemic has cleared. However, no one can say for sure when that will be. Uncertainty is undoubtedly the name of the game right now.
Luckily, Coast to Coast Events is here to help.
Since reopening our doors in May, we have hired 10 new customer service representatives. These reps were given the opportunity for paid training with our corporate trainers and are now earning a steady hourly wage alongside commission. They also have the opportunity to be rewarded for their hard work through fun team nights and exciting travel opportunities and to get promoted through our growth track.
Best of all? Instead of sitting in an office all day, our reps are out in the field, gaining valuable experience in direct marketing and (dare we say it) having a ton of fun.
You’re probably wishing that were you. The great news is, it can be! Even in spite of the pandemic, Coast to Coast Events is currently undergoing rapid expansion. Coast to Coast Events, Inc. is so excited to welcome Mary Alice Hughes to our team! For the last month, she has been serving in an administrative role as a communications and recruiting specialist.
Mary Alice comes to us from Auburn University, where she obtained her degree in public relations in May. Before that, she was born and raised in Birmingham. She attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts for high school and graduated from the creative writing department. She brings this love of writing and creativity to her new role at Coast to Coast.
“I’ve had such a good time beginning my journey here,” Mary Alice said. “I’m so passionate about building brand awareness and flexing my creativity skills, so I love that I’ve been able to spend my time working on social media and office communications. I’ve also really enjoyed recruiting—I love talking to new people!”
Mary Alice is also very excited to have a hand in Coast to Coast Events’ community outreach program. She loves giving back to her community and is an avid volunteer for many local nonprofits.
“Community outreach is vitally important, and I’m so grateful to be a part of an organization that uses its time and resources to help others,” she said.
Above all, Mary Alice wants to use this as a learning opportunity; a way to hone her existing skills, develop new ones and become the best version of herself.
“I can’t wait to watch myself continue to grow and change during my time here,” she said. “I’m so grateful for this opportunity!”

When Maleena Gregori graduated from college in Syracuse, New York, she had no idea that she would one day be moving to Chattanooga, Tennessee to open up her own marketing and advertising firm.
Maleena started with Coast to Coast Events as a part-time Client Specialist in 2019. In the past year, she has risen through the ranks to get promoted all the way to Director of Operations. Throughout her time here, she has also been part of the training and development of a number of other employees.
“That was the most important part for me,” she said. “I was able to watch and learn from other people I worked with and develop a team of really great employees.”
Throughout the promotion process, Maleena worked hard and was rewarded with a handful of road trips, her favorite being the Keys to Success in Dallas, Texas. These trips were her main motivation for dedicating herself to get promoted.
“They helped open my eyes to all the things this opportunity allows,” she said. “I was able to see all the different ways to run your business and the places you’re able to go.”
And so Chattanooga (or at least, Maleena’s branch in Chattanooga) was born. Maleena chose to open her branch there because it’s adjacent to many of the people in her network—and the friends she’s made along the way.
“I’ve made some of my best friends working here. Surrounding myself with like-minded people kept me in that entrepreneurship mindset,” she said.
One of those friends is Audrey Mottla. Audrey, a Junior Director, will be accompanying Maleena to Chattanooga and will be an integral part of the branch’s operations.
“I see so much potential in Audrey,” Maleena said. “I’ve trained her since day one and she has such great work ethic. She’s so goal-oriented while also being full of life. I think she really has the mindset to help me and have me help her.”
Maleena is most excited about the move to Chattanooga because it will give her a chance to prove to others (and to herself) that she can operate a successful, profitable branch.
“I can’t wait to take what I’ve learned and apply it,” she said. “I also want to show other people who chose to leave what they’ve missed out on!”

The world’s new “normal” (if you can call it that) has no doubt been hard on everyone. Coast to Coast Events is no exception. Although deemed an “essential business” by Governor Ivey, our management team decided to let the staff vote on whether or not to return to the office; a consensus was quickly reached that COVID-19 was a real and dangerous threat, and as such the team spent five long weeks working from home.
While certainly an adjustment, the management team quickly rose to the task. Director of Operations Cody Lowery hosted a number of fun contests and Zoom meetings to keep employees engaged—these included a trivia night, a cooking class, a “cut your hair at home” seminar and even a social distancing barbecue (once it was deemed safe, of course). Our management team even conducted a few meetings while floating down the Cahaba River!
It wasn’t all fun and games, however. As they say, the grind never stops; on that note, management hosted weekly leadership meetings through Zoom and conference calls and continued to network with clients to gain deeper product knowledge and client information. They also made sure to continue to offer training classes for the staff to keep them sharp.
And of course, we didn’t forget about our current customers. Our client specialists continued to offer assistance to customers in need through scheduled appointments in order to comply with social distancing.
This week, we’re finally making our long-anticipated return! Our staff is so excited to get back to the office and provide our clients with the best possible service. We are, of course, continuing to follow social distancing and CDC guidelines both in our office and at all our events in order to protect the health and safety of our staff and customers.
Arguably the most exciting thing about reopening is that it has allowed us to resume our expansion. We are actively looking for people to fill our entry-level sales and marketing, retail marketing and management trainee positions. This past month the top managers from our organization were whisked away to the the Big Apple for the weekend! These top four make up the core of our organization and are some of the hardest working members of the team! After some brainstorming on our fourth quarter goals and our client's needs, the team headed out to New York for a weekend of fun and relaxation! With only a weekend to explore, Cody and our top managers made sure to make the most of their time, visiting Ground Zero, Time Square and several other top tourist attractions! The big highlight of their trip was definitely checking out Madison Square Garden for the UFC fight! Shout out to Jorge Masvidal on his win over Nate Diaz! After their weekend, the team headed back to our Birmingham head quarters to prepare for the rest of the fourth quarter, and upcoming events for our clients! As a whole our organization loves this time of year -- we can't wait to see what contests will be up next!!

This past month Coast to Coast Events held a raffle for the top performers on our marketing team! Colby, part of our upper management team and consistent top performer, was the first name chosen for the raffle! He was able to choose someone from our team to head to the Gulf Coast with him for a two-day escape! Brett and Colby stayed in Biloxi on the coast and had a chance for some rest, relaxation and a little extra fun at the casino! These two managers definitely earned the time off!! We hope you guys had a blast!!

We would like to take a moment and spotlight Malik L!! This past week, Malik completely smashed the weekly goals set for him by his manager and was able to claim the title of HIGH ROLLER for the week! As the high roller, Malik took home not only bragging rights, but also a nice cash bonus in addition to his already impressive check for the week! Malik contributes his recent success to the training he’s received from his manager, Justin, that has helped expand his client and product knowledge. With a background in the food industry, Malik loves that Coast to Coast has helped bring him out of his shell and refine his communication skills.
Being a high roller and collecting an additional bonus isn’t the only positive from hitting his goals!! Malik’s results also helped land him in the top ten for our “Beast of the Month” contest for March. This contest is running for the month of March (FINAL WEEK!) and the BEST of the BEST are competing! The TOP performer for the month will be claiming an additional cash bonus, as well as taking home the “Beast of the month” trophy!
We cannot wait to see who claims the title next week!!

This past month our hardworking management team jetted off to the Dominican Republic for some much-deserved R&R! Every year we feel it is important to reward the hard work and long hours are amazing team does behind the scenes for our growing organization! This year, like last year, our team was able to spend several days lounging on the beach in beautiful Punta Cana, Dominican Republic! While enjoying the beautiful beaches and exploring the island, our team was pampered and waiting on by the amazing staff at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Resort and Casino (Check it out: https://www.hardrockhotelpuntacana.com/).
During their stay, our team had the opportunity to meet with our amazing clients and partners for our annual award ceremony! Our organization is blessed to have yet again brought home awards from our clients – for the ninth year in a row!! HUGE round of applause for the top 5 locations in our growing organization who took home awards, and to Cody, our fearless leader, for receiving additional recognition! We could not be prouder of our amazing team!!

Jacques is an entrepreneur, teacher, student and overall one of the driving forces behind Coast to Coast. He is an excellent example of everything Coast to Coast embodies. Jacques is originally from Anderson, Indiana, but grew up in Grady, Alabama. At the age of 17, he started his own landscaping business that he operated for 15 years. He also worked in retail for more than 20 years where he was consistently a top performer in sales.
In his spare time, you can find Jacques at the Hoover Library teaching others how to trade on the foreign exchange market. A quote that has really impacted Jacques is: “The illiterate of the 21st century won’t be those that can’t read or write; it will be those that can’t learn, unlearn and relearn.” Jacques also enjoys doing some consulting work in clothing for men and young boys to help them prepare for interviews. Jacques has a passion for learning as well as teaching new skills and making a difference in his community.
Every day is an “absolutely amazing day” at Coast to Coast with Jacques. He thrives in the fast paced environment that Coast to Coast offers him. After only his third week with Coast to Coast, he was promoted to Account Manager for his outstanding performance. We’re happy to have him on our team and can’t wait to see everything he accomplishes.

Coast to Coast Events prides itself on recruiting and training only the best of the best to work with our team. Our entire philosophy focuses on bringing in a candidate with little experience, and developing and training them in all aspects of our business. This training program has allowed us to produce several top managers in our industry who are successfully managing territories all over the southeast!
One individual who is well on his way to becoming one of those top managers is Mike, aka “Big Mike”. Mike is originally from Arkansas and he joined our team a little over a year ago. Before moving to the Birmingham area, he was focusing on attaining his Bachelor’s degree from Arkansas Tech, and was the lead Defensive Tackle for their football team! Mike’s experience in athletics, working with his team, and focusing on team goals, prepared him for his future as a team leader with our company!
Since his initial training at C2C, Mike has led his team in smashing sales goals and has even perfected his training and mentoring techniques. He is considered to be one of the top trainers with our company and has also been an integral part in establishing our team presence in the Tuscaloosa area. Mike has proven that he is willing to take the time to learn and perfect each aspect of our business, and is now learning other management duties such has interviewing potential candidates and continuing to build our team here in Birmingham.
C2C’s success is greatly due to the hard work and dedication of our team members. Individuals like Mike help us smash the goals our clients set for us every year! Mike has expressed an interest in helping manage one of our major territories in Mississippi. If he keeps going at this extraordinary pace, we will definitely be seeing him earn that promotion very soon!

The Coast to Coast Events Team has made numerous advances in the marketing and customer service industry over the past several years. A great deal of our success is due to our amazing and hard working President, Cody! Cody is the founder of our company and he has led our organization to be one of the highest producing teams in direct marketing. Cody’s accomplishments and leadership have led him to be a well-known and respected figure in our industry.
This past week, Cody was invited to attend a Leader’s Summit in Miami. Only the top executives in our industry were invited to attend. The collective group of twenty-two executives spent two days brainstorming about what our marketing and sales teams are doing well, and what could be improved upon. They also discussed plans for the future, including new markets for expansion, as well as new clients that we will be acquiring this year!
The Summit was not all work and no play! The group enjoyed catered dinners and free time for networking with each other on a one on one basis. They also attended an event at Top Golf and took part in a little friendly competition.
The ideas and concepts discussed at the Summit are going to be distributed to all the managers in our organization so that changes can be made and lead us into the future of our business! Our goal is to always be improving and moving forward together as a team. Any chance we have to send an ambassador to events like the Leader’s Summit are an amazing opportunity for us to achieve that goal, and we are looking forward to seeing the results that will come from these changes!

Coast to Coast Events has always found ways to create an energetic and competitive environment, while still focusing on creating teamwork and comradery. Once a year, we have a huge competition for all the top sales representatives throughout the southeast. C2C has teams in multiple states and cities spreading from Florida to Louisiana and all the way up through Tennessee.
The top 60 representatives from our various markets were chosen to take place in the “Southeast Bracket Showdown” this year. The competition is set up like a bracket tournament with single elimination. Every week the representatives will face off in a head to head challenge and the winner will move on in the bracket to the next week. These challenges will continue until a victor is declared and the grand prize is claimed!
The prizes this year are valued at over $3,000! There is a $100 reward for the Elite Eight, $200 for the Final Four, $300 for the Runner Up, and $1000 for the grand prize winner! We also are having mini competitions throughout the tournament that offer additional cash prizes!
Our Team in Birmingham has ten individuals who qualified to compete this year! This past week, the competition started off with a bang and several of our Birmingham team members smashed the competition and are moving on to the next round. We are excited to see if one of our local team leaders will claim the grand prize and be declared the ultimate victor!
Competitions like this are such a fun way for our team to network with other representatives throughout our division and help everyone come together to focus on hitting our customer acquisition goals. It is also an awesome opportunity for us to bring a little aspect of fun into everything we do!

Coast to Coast Events has some huge expectations for 2018 and our team works extremely hard to achieve and supersede all of our goals. In order to ensure all our hard work pays off, the C2C management team wanted to make sure our office had the right tools and knowledge to be successful. To help our team meet success, they decided to take the best and brightest leaders from our office to attend a huge networking and marketing conference in Atlanta. This conference would provide our team with the opportunity to network with individuals throughout our organization who have proven success in the industry, and would also expose them to nationally ranked speakers from all over the country!
Of course, the C2C team is never “all work and no play” and in true C2C fashion, we started our time in Atlanta with an entertaining night at Top Golf. The team enjoyed some great food and even had the chance to take a swing at some rounds of golf! Needless to say…most of the team should keep their day job. The team had a blast, and they were even able to network with other individuals throughout our organization who were attending the conference with us the following day!
Early the next morning, our team and Managers headed to the conference hall eager to learn! There were several topics that were discussed. Some of our favorites were topics involving how to develop and train a team, how to conduct an awesome interview, the effects of mentality on production, and how to create and better manage goals!
One of the most memorable moments of the conference was when several individuals received promotions and recognition for their accomplishments. One of our very own Account Managers, Cliff (pictured here with Cody), was individually recognized for all of his hard work in 2017, and was awarded with a promotion to Assistant Director!
Our team had so much fun networking with everyone and having the opportunity to attend the meeting! The knowledge gained at this meeting will be extremely beneficial in the coming year as each member of our team plays their part and helps us smash our goals!

In true Coast to Coast fashion, our team finished out the 2017 year with a bang! Not only did we smash our expansion goals for the year, but we were also able to give back to our team and the local community! There were several charities that we helped sponsor throughout the months of November and December. Together, with our partner Causley, we were able to provide over 9,000 books for under-privileged children. Also, our team collectively donated a full car load of clothes for those in need!
At C2C, our Management team always puts a high priority on giving back to our local community, but they also want to make sure that they are rewarding those who help us be successful every day – our awesome team! Throughout the month of December, our Managers ran a competition for the entire office. The top performers won cash bonuses and were all entered into a raffle drawing with prizes worth up to $5000! Some of the coolest items in the raffle included an XBOX ONE Halo Bundle, a 65” Vizio 4K Television, and a new Tablet with Keyboard and Windows 10 Combo!
The two biggest winners of the competition were Isadore and Mike! Isadore (pictured in the left back corner, holding up all the money) is the head Account Manager over our Residential Division, and he is consistently one of the first people to the office, maintains a super positive attitude, and always try to outwork everyone on the team! He walked away with several hundred dollars in bonus cash! Mike (pictured in the center, with the white shirt) won the 65” 4K TV! Mike has been a huge help with our expansion team that covers the Tuscaloosa market. It is so exciting to see these guys being rewarded for all of their dedication and hard work!
The team here at C2C had a great year in 2017….goals were smashed, territories were expanded, new clients were acquired… Now we are gearing up for the 2018 year to be even bigger and better, and the only way to accomplish that is with our amazing team! We are so excited to see what this new year holds in store for us!

Coast to Coast Events, inc. is excited to see its seventh year of continual growth. Coast to Coast Events represents several of the biggest names in the telecommunications and technology fields. Throughout the years, their list of global clients has grown, and in the process, Coast to Coast Events has been able to provide more opportunities for employees and managers. Coast to Coast Events is a huge believer in providing opportunities to individuals who are goal driven and have the desire to perform above and beyond expectations. C2C’s business model is to hire at entry-level, cross-train in every area, and then promote solely from within. C2C’s award-winning management training program has helped them produce multiple managers and successfully smash the goals set by their growing clients! Their National expansion now includes over seven different states and eighteen different cities throughout the South East!
As they come to the end of 2017, Coast to Coast Events is thrilled to be expanding yet again and they have just promoted two new managers who they are very excited about! The first of these new Managers is Darius. Darius has worked hard to put his stamp on the Coast to Coast Events team! Native to the Birmingham area, Darius has an extensive background in Customer Service, Sales, and Client Acquisitions. However, prior to joining the C2C team, he had not had the opportunity to develop his management skill set. As a father of three, he knew that in order to provide the lifestyle he wanted for his family, he would need to develop his expertise and advance with a company into more of a management role. With that mentality in mind, Darius joined the C2C team and quickly became a “student of the game”. He made it his priority to be the first representative to the office every day, and spent as much time as possible shadowing the company’s top managers. This past October, Darius received his much deserved promotion to Management and was even awarded a sponsored trip to our Networking Event in the Dominican Republic! He is now helping the C2C management team oversee the market in Chattanooga, TN where he is looking to grow and develop the team there and provide the opportunity to others, like himself, who are looking for something bigger.
The second recently promoted Manager, Aaron, has only recently put his mark on the Coast to Coast Events Team! Originally from Columbia, MS., Aaron has always had a competitive spirit, with a focus on people and development. Throughout his college years, he was named “All American” in Basketball, Football, and Baseball! Since earning his degree in Business Management, Aaron has focused on developing his skills as a Project Specialist and Leads Generator for various National brands. Now, being a father of three beautiful girls, he knew that he wanted to take his career into a new field, and joined the C2C team at their head office in Birmingham. When Aaron joined the C2C team, he was primarily focused on learning every aspect of management including conducting interviews, client acquisitions, and team building. He was given the opportunity to shadow one of C2C’s leading Managers, Cody, and has now been sent back to his home in Mississippi to help oversee the C2C market in Hattiesburg! Aaron has really high expectations for the team in Hattiesburg, and is working on a three year plan to develop and promote twenty other managers to assist in C2C’s National Expansion! Although he has already seen many successes, he says his greatest accomplishment is being a father to his three amazing daughters, and everything he does is for them.
Though recent expansion has been a huge focus for the team, Coast to Coast Events also had a very successful first half of the year! In the spring, C2C promoted several of their top representatives, including Rod and Wesley, into Management positions, and these individuals are now helping oversee various markets for the C2C Management Team. Rod, who began working with C2C in November of 2016, made it very clear from the start that he wanted to learn all of the processes within the company and grow into a management role. He had previously gained experience in management from running his own Wrestling Club where he coached for the past twenty years. Rod has always been competitive and wants to be the best of the best in everything he does. This competitive spirit and prior experience made him a perfect candidate for the management training program at C2C. Throughout his time with C2C, Rod has taken the time to learn every aspect of management within the company and has become a mentor to many of his co-workers. When asked about his success with the company, Rod says it’s… “The environment, the people willing to help train or provide incite based off their experiences..that is what has helped me reach my goals of management so quickly.” And C2C is very excited that he has reached that goal, helping the company grow into West Alabama! Rod says he plans to continue developing the team in this market, and use the growing region as a strategic launching point to expand into other new territories!
The second manager promoted earlier this year is Tuscaloosa native, Wesley. Wesley began his career with C2C in June of 2016. When Wesley joined the team, he had just received his Business Management Degree from the University of Alabama, and was looking to get his foot in the door with a company where he could begin his career. The management training program at C2C was the perfect training ground for him, and after seeing the need for managers and expansion within the company, Wesley knew that this was the long-term career he had hoped to find. Throughout 2016, Wesley played a huge role in supporting the Management team at C2C, and after earning his promotion, Wesley was intrigued by the National opportunities with the Company. He decided to relocate to Louisiana and take over as Branch Manager in the Lafayette market. The city of Lafayette is growing at an exponential rate and Wesley is very excited about tapping into that growth and strategically using it to help develop a larger team there!
All of these up and coming managers have set huge goals for their markets! Coast to Coast Events is proud of what they have already accomplished with the company in such a short amount of time. Holiday Season is upon us! Here at Coast to Coast Events, the energy is high as we are working around the clock to complete our goals before the end of the year. Since launching our Birmingham branch in 2012, Coast to Coast Events has had success after success thanks to the hard working individuals on our team! Although each of us have projects to focus on and tasks to complete, we cannot forget that the Holiday Season is a great time for us to think about those less fortunate and take the opportunity to give back to the city that has given us so much!
This Holiday Season, The team at Coast to Coast Events is sponsoring three different causes! The first group that we are working with is the Brother Bryan Mission, which is based here in Birmingham. This Mission focuses on providing opportunities to men who are at their lowest in life, and helps start them on a new path to better themselves. C2C is partnering with the Mission and other local groups to host a Clothing Drive to help provide warm clothes for these men in need!
For the fourth year in a row, the team at C2C will be partnering with the Foundry to host a Canned Food Drive! Foundry Ministries is also local to Birmingham, and like the Brother Bryan Mission, the Foundry focuses on helping individuals and families start over when they have lost everything. Throughout the months of November and December, the team at C2C will be collecting food to donate to the families and individuals in need.
Of course, we can’t forget about our Charity of the Month, where with our partner Causely, we are able to help support a different cause every month. This month, the goal is to Feed A Billion People. For every check in on our company Facebook page, a meal will be provided to someone in need. #givemeals is such an easy way to help give back during this busy time of the year!
The team at C2C is so excited to be able to give back to those in need during this season, but also to be able to give back locally is extra special! The opportunities and success provided to our team here in Birmingham have been so exciting to see, and we cannot wait to see what we can accomplish as a team in 2018!

As we roll into the fourth quarter, the C2C team has yet again responded to the expansion call of our clients! One of our client’s biggest requests for us this year was to grow our footprint throughout the Southeast! So far this year we have been able to do so by growing throughout Alabama, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, and now we are growing further into Tennessee! Overseeing this recent expansion is Darius Austin. Darius has been featured as one of our top managers for our Birmingham location, but just recently received his promotion to Branch Management!
Before joining the C2C family, Darius had an extensive background in sales and management. At the end of 2016, Darius and his wife were expecting their little one, and he knew that he wanted to pursue a better opportunity to provide for his growing family! Since joining our team in January, Darius has been able to soar through our training program, growing from an entry-level Brand Ambassador to Branch Manager. During the months he worked in our Birmingham branch, Darius spent time developing his skills in team building, teaching, mentoring, interviewing, and management processes. Due to his exceptional work ethic and positive attitude, he has developed into one of our most influential managers and is now getting the opportunity to oversee our expansion into Chattanooga, TN!
The C2C team would like to give a huge shout out to Darius for his promotion and we wish him the best in his new position! We appreciate all of his hard work and eagerness to succeed, because without people like Darius, it would be impossible for us to reach our goals!

A few weeks ago, Coast to Coast Events released the names of all the team members who had qualified to attend our upcoming retreat to the beautiful All – Inclusive Hard Rock Casino and Hotel, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. For the team here in Birmingham, there were four top managers who were selected to attend. However, there were two other members of our team who also hit their qualifications to receive one of the coveted invites! Behind every successful business, is a top notch support staff, and leading on the support side for Coast to Coast are Alice and Hannah, both of whom have immensely aided the C2C team in hitting our expansion goals and meeting the high demands of our awesome clients!
Leading our office staff is our Talent Acquisition Specialist, Alice! Alice has been with the Coast to Coast team from day one, and has helped the business grow into the massive success that it is today! Though she has worn several different hats throughout her career here, Alice currently oversees all the finances for each of our offices throughout our organization. She is especially vital during the initial launch into any new territory as she facilitates the expansion team with everything involved in the expansion. At our home office, Alice is our top talent acquisitions specialist and she oversees the interview schedule and all new hire screening. Not only does she keep the team at C2C running smoothly, but she also dedicates her time to training and mentoring other talent acquisition specialists working throughout our division!
Hannah, has been a member of our team for three years, but just recently moved into her new role with us as Office Manager! She is the first face you see when you walk through our office doors, but she does a lot more behind the scenes that help every member of the team. She stays busy with managing the day to day tasks that come from a busy working office. She also plays a huge role in helping with our expansion offices in regards to website and logo design, social media, and getting everything arranged from an administration standpoint. Her assistance has been vital in the success of several of our newest expansions and has made the transition process faster and smoother for each manager. By easing this process, our managers can put more focus into what is really important, building their teams and nurturing their markets in order to continue our team’s success!
Every great team has a great support system, those individuals who work behind the scenes and the glue that holds everyone together, the ones who keep everything running smoothly without any hiccups. For the Coast to Coast team, those individuals are our amazing support staff Alice and Hannah and we couldn’t be more excited to hear that they will be joining us in the Dominican! In recent weeks, we have published several articles stating that the team at Coast to Coast has been exceeding expectations and growing throughout the South East at an exponential rate! This week, we wanted to spotlight a few of the individuals who have really been leading the way as we continue this growth into the fourth quarter.
Earlier this year, we were excited to promote our top Assistant Director, Marvin, who got the opportunity to oversee our expansion to Huntsville, AL. Since arriving in Huntsville, Marvin has nearly doubled his staff, and is personally training each member of his team. Not only is he focusing on developing others, but he is also setting the pace with his personal production. Our clients even recognized Marvin as the number one producing manager in the entire country in August!
This past summer we were able to promote another one of our up and coming Account Managers, Rod. Since his promotion, Rod has taken over managing our Tuscaloosa market, and he has created one of the strongest relationships we have ever had with our business partners and clients in that area. He is continuing to build his team with the help of his Assistant Manager, Mike. Together, they are teaching, training, and cultivating the team that plans to smash the Tuscaloosa market!
In the past few weeks, we have been excited to see the growth in one of our other Assistant Directors, Darius! Darius’ hard work and dedication are really paying off. Darius is one of those individuals who is always the first person to the office, he is not afraid to take on any task, and he is extremely coachable! Darius has exceeded our expectations, and as such, will be joining our management team on our upcoming retreat to the Dominican Republic. When we return, he will be taking over our newest expansion to Chattanooga, TN!
So far, the team at Coast to Coast has expanded and awarded promotions every quarter this year! We cannot wait to see who will step up next as we enter into the fourth quarter and busiest season of the year!

It is that time of year again! Every year to kick off the fourth quarter, our largest client rewards our best and brightest with an amazing opportunity to attend a huge networking retreat. In previous years, they have sponsored our team to travel to Las Vegas, the Bahamas, Cancun, Mexico, and many other amazing destinations! This year, they have definitely come through with an amazing vacation planned for our team and soon will be attending our All-Inclusive retreat in the beautiful Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana, Dominican Republic!
The Coast to Coast Events team has been relentless in hitting our expansion goals this year and we have consistently set the bar for exceeding our client’s expectations. To reward our hard work, they are sponsoring, not one, but Six of our Managers and Support staff, along with their families for this amazing adventure! The conference will be held in mid October, and we will be traveling to enjoy the beautiful beaches, amazing food and drinks, and have the awesome opportunity to network with other managers in our division from all over the country!
The Six individuals from the C2C team who are attending this conference include our Support Staff, Hannah and Alice, the glue that holds the C2C team together; and our top Managers, Cody, JosQuell, and Rod (from our Tuscaloosa market). Attending for his first time is one of our top Corporate Trainers, Darius! In order to qualify for this amazing opportunity, Darius has worked hard to make himself an invaluable member of our management team. Our managers announced to the entire C2C team that only one other individual from the team would be able to attend. That individual would be required to master every area of management within our company. Since this announcement, Darius has become our top trainer, mentors new representatives on our team, conducts second-round interviews, runs meetings for the entire C2C team, and is even learning how to conduct first-round interviews! All of his hard work is paying off, and he will be joining the management team this October!
We are so thankful to our amazing clients who not only provide us with the opportunity to run a massively successful operation out of Birmingham and the surrounding area, but also who reward our hard work with such an awesome experience! As fall quickly approaches, the energy at Coast to Coast Events is higher than ever! The fourth quarter of the year is always the busiest and most exciting time for our company. Recently, our team has been growing at an exponential rate, and as such, we have been hitting some of the highest goals that our team has ever seen! C2C has a reputation for setting a high standard across the South East when it comes to representing our global clients. However, our clients have recently recognized us as the number one team in the entire United States, not once, but actually the past five weeks in a row! Congratulations to everyone on the team who has been working so hard to help us achieve this goal!
Though our entire team has been working hard to help us achieve this national recognition, there are two Account Managers who have been leading the pack. One of our newest Account Managers, Aaron, has been smashing his personal goals in new customer acquisitions and was the number one representative in our office three weeks in a row! Because of his hard work and dedication, Aaron is now getting the opportunity to oversee our expansion to Hattiesburg, MS.
Our team has also been able to head up a new division for our largest client, which has helped us increase new customer acquisitions by 20%! Leading this new division is our Account Manager, Turner. Turner has been consistently setting the bar high for himself and his team and has been working hard to develop his team members to help them reach their own success!
The team at C2C is gearing up for the fourth quarter, and the past five weeks have shown us that this quarter may turn out to be our best one yet! We are so excited to see what our team can accomplish next!

Coast to Coast Events has always thrived while promoting our work hard, play hard atmosphere. This atmosphere is fueled by the friendly competition between teams within our office. Driven to reach their goals, our top leaders help push their team to claim bragging rights, as well as some pretty amazing prizes along the way to the top!
In true C2C fashion, our managers decided to hold a competition for the month of August. The prize? An All-Expenses paid, two-night stay at the Golden Nugget casino and resort in Biloxi, MS, along with epic bragging rights of course! Each team member was given certain goals to reach based on their level in our training program (to be fair!) chosen for them by our management team. Everyone on the C2C team was invited to participate in the contest! With the close of August, the points were tallied and the winner, who reach the most amount of goals was declared!! Except, of course, with our competitive team, we ended up with a tie! We would like to congratulate both Amanda and Jackie for knocking the contest out of the water and winning this amazing trip!
There is no surprise to us that these two amazing women won the August showdown contest, as they are two of our top Account Managers! It was such an amazing experience to be able to watch both Amanda and Jackie grow through achieving their August goals. These two were able to hit sales goals, help their team members attain promotions, learn to conduct interviews and meetings, and even organize a road trip to visit one of our other branches. They definitely enjoyed some well-deserved R&R! Congratulations to you both! The team at C2C is looking forward to seeing what these two can accomplish next!

Coast to Coast Events takes so much pride in our team’s hard work and achievements. We love having driven individuals who enter our business and set personal goals for growth. This past week, we had not one, but two employees hit their personal goals, and as always, we are so excited to announce our two newest Account Managers, Amanda and Isadore!
Amanda, originally from Enterprise, AL came to us just a few months ago when she realized she needed a career with more growth potential. Previously, Amanda was a band and choir teacher, teaching children from grades 1st-12th. This teaching mentality has helped Amanda quickly transition into a leadership role with our company, and now she is focusing on teaching, training, and mentoring her team.
Isadore was born and raised in Mobile, AL. He has always had an entrepreneurial mentality and has previously run several successful companies of his own. Isadore joined our team because he wanted to learn more about team management. His past experience and current drive for success has paired together and he is now a force to be reckoned with. He is very excited to continue his management training and begin building his team!
Huge shout out to Amanda and Isadore for all of their hard work! They have both set such a high standard for leadership and are such a motivation to all their peers. We are very excited to see what these two can accomplish as we head into the final quarter of 2017!

At the start of 2017, we had the opportunity to partner with Causely, an amazing organization that uses social media to raise awareness and donations for different causes each month. Every time someone checks-in on our Coast to Coast Events Facebook page, Causely makes a donation to a great cause on our behalf.
As Back to School is in full swing for families everywhere, it seems only fitting that this month’s cause is in support of schools. For every check-in on our Facebook page, Causely is donating bricks to help build schools throughout Nicaragua. #bricks4schools is especially focusing on areas that have historically not had any adequate school structures.
So far, while working with Causely, we have had the opportunity to help support seven other causes this year! These include: providing dog food to companies that train seeing eye dogs, giving pairs of shoes to those in need, providing gallons of clean water to areas that do not normally have access to safe water, and even helping to provide hours of therapy sessions for children with Autism.
Causely has provided such a fun and easy way to help those in need while also helping us create a social network that gets our community involved in giving back! This past week, the team at Coast to Coast had the opportunity to attend a regional networking event in Atlanta, GA. Attending this meeting were top members of our organization from all across the Southeast.
Our team motto has always been “work hard, play hard”. So in true Coast to Coast fashion, we spent our first night in Atlanta taking the team out for bowling, laser tag, and delicious food! We were also able to invite several of the top leaders in our organization, providing a great opportunity for the team to network!
At the meeting, the team was able to hear several key speakers, including our fearless leader, Cody. The lineup of topics included everything from team management to self growth, and provided key insight for our team members on how to truly be successful with our company.
Speaking of success…Coast to Coast had four managers recognized for their hard work and achievements! One of these managers, Rod Gaddy, also received a promotion to Branch Manager, and he will now be overseeing our newest expansion to Tuscaloosa, AL! Coast to Coast Events is super excited to promote our annual scholarship program! Each year, we open our doors for local summer interns to be able to join our ranks and gain real world experience! Our training program provides all team members the chance to receive hands on training from our managers, covering topics ranging from customer service, leadership skills, and business management knowledge.
With the hands-on mentorship, summer interns still can grow with us through our management program! As team members grow within our office, they are able to earn money through our scholarship program! Each promotion through our training program earns money towards their tuition when their school semester starts back!
We currently have a newer Account manager in our office, Trey! Trey is one of our amazing summer interns growing with our team! Having already earned money in his scholarship account, we are excited to see what the remainder of the summer holds!!

We are so pumped to be able to reward our amazing team’s hard work with the bonuses given to us from our growing clients! Nationally, our global partner announced a contest to help boost the use of their mobile app! In true Coast to Coast fashion, we saw a challenge and we CONQUERED! Within days of announcing the contest, our team was in gear and halfway to the goal!! We’d like to give a round of applause to our team who ended in the top twenty percent nationally with their results!!
Since we SMASHED the goal, our client rewarded our results with over three thousand dollars in cash bonuses!! We made a day of it of course! Hiding bonuses in balloons to be popped, Cody made sure our team had to have one last challenge to overcome! HUGE congratulations to everyone who took home some well deserved cash!!

The C2C team is beyond excited to announce that for 2017 we have had the biggest and best first quarter to date! With huge results, we are sure to see huge promotions! We’d like to take a moment and share some of the most recent promotions from our office this past month!
Our first shout out is for John S & MJ!! These guys teamed up and completely smashed their goals! Helping prepare our team for the upcoming expansion to Huntsville, MJ & John ran a road trip to test the market. They duo was sent with a goal to meet, and they destroyed their goal and came back to our corporate office to claim their titles! Congratulations to John for bringing home the “TOP DOG” money and belt for his performance during the Huntsville trip! Also, a round of applause for MJ for earning his promotion to account management during that same trip! These two are definitely two to keep your eye on!
Our next huge shout out is for Big Mike!! Michael B came in to the team during February with big goals to accomplish! Working directly with our newest corporate trainer, Rod G, and JosQuell (one of our directors), Michael was bound to do big things within our organization. There was no surprise that after a few weeks he earned his promotion into account management. Since then, Mike has help work with the team to develop his up and coming leaders!
The final March promotion belongs to the one and only Marvin! Beginning with the team towards the end of 2016, Marvin came in to the Coast to Coast org with a mission – to break records! It is only fitting that with Marvin helping guide the team, we’ve had a record breaking first quarter! We couldn’t be prouder to announce Marvin the corporate trainer is now Marvin the Assistant Director!!

This past weekend the world celebrated one of the greatest Super Bowl in history! Not only was this one of the only Super Bowls in history to go to overtime, but our very owner Cody was able to witness this game IN PERSON! In the beginning of the year, our amazing partners announced another contest for our managers – this time, offering up tickets to the Super Bowl experience, including behind the scenes experience with ESPN and amazing food all weekend! The group of selected winners also had the opportunity to race high powered go karts Saturday, before checking out the UFC fight in Houston, TX.
We are so proud that our fearless leader was able to be one of the fifteen people chosen from over 500 nationally! We love that we have kicked off 2017 winning one of the most sought after contests our partners offer!! Here’s to what the next few months bring!!

The C2C team is excited to announce our first expansion of the new year! Earlier this month our core managers got together to discuss the upcoming year and our goals as a whole.
With a plan and some new year excitement, we set our sights on Jackson, MS as part of the first step of the 2017 expansion plan (to take over the world of course!). HUGE congratulations to Thomas Cargill on his promotion to branch manager!

We are so excited to learn the details of the next up and coming leadership conference! This semiannual conference is by invitation only, and once again, Coast to Coast has earned a seat at the table! No doubt thanks to our ever growing team’s hard work!!
In spring of 2017 (specific date to be determined) our amazing managers will be taking an all inclusive trip to Dallas, TX to attend this amazing conference! Here they will have a chance to network with the best of the best in our business, as well as learn tip and tricks to help advance their careers!
This year we will be staying at the amazing Gaylord Texan resort! This resort has it all! Including an on-site water park! We know our team will love the opportunity to relax (SPA!) and play while they pick up helpful knowledge!!
Our team is pushing for the next few weeks to ensure they qualify for the trip, as only the top handful of managers earn a seat at this conference!! We can’t wait to see our team continue to grow as we represent the Southeast at this national convention!!

We are so excited to see our very own Thomas (aka STACKZ) lead a road trip this weekend. Thomas, with the help of our newest u and coming team member Marvin, headed to Columbus, GA this morning to help grow the market.
Week in and week out, Thomas has consistently set the pace in the Birmingham office. He also has grown his team (MONEY TEAM!) to be one of the biggest in the head office! This road trip is helping prepare Thomas for his new role as Assistant Director.

This month Coast to Coast Events teamed up with the Salvation Army to help support the Angel Tree. Starting in 1979, the Salvation Army uses the Angel Tree charity to reach local families to help during Christmas. This year the Coast to Coast Events team was able to sponsor ten local children, providing them with toys for Christmas and winter clothes.

The past two weeks at Coast to Coast Events has been marked by the epic come back of Marvis!! Though Marvis has always been an individual helping raise the standards of our team, the past two weeks he has completely blown his goals out of the water!
The first week, Marvis took the focus he learned in the military and applied it to our business! The results helped him claim the “championship” belt for being the office high roller! Marvis told us that his success was all thanks to maintaining his attitude and believing in himself day in and day out! He also gave credit to his trainer, Thomas “Stackz” for helping him learn our client’s information in the office.
Week two rolled around and Marvis had his sights set on continuing to be the high roller in the office. Not only was he able to reach his goal, but for the second week in a row, Marvis blew away his goal for the week! This time, his results earned him a promotion! He told us his motivation to reaching this point has been the freedom he has to set his own pace, and his own goals!

Coast to Coast Events has announced the October charity of the month! This month we will be sponsoring the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama. With employees from managers to sales reps being effected first-hand by breast cancer, it is only fitting that we kick off the new tradition with a charity that hits close to home.
Breast cancer is the second most common cancer, effecting 1 in 8 women. It is important that we help raise awareness of the importance of early detection, as well as help support those working towards a cure.

This week our top managers are gearing up for the best time of year - the fourth quarter! Each year we treat the best of the best from our organization to this amazing retreat. Here, the guys and gals of our business have the opportunity to relax, enjoy a new exciting place, as well as network with the CEOs and Partners of our division. This year, as you know our team is enjoying the view of the Las Vegas strip from the amazing Aria hotel and casino!
Today our team had the opportunity to hear from a handful of guest speakers at this morning’s award ceremony! The most exciting was of course Les Brown! Les, who is a world known motivational speaker, sat down with both Cody Lowery and Q Morrell (from our Mississippi branch) before he spoke to the group of roughly a thousand managers! Les got insight on what we do, and what makes our team so successful and integrated the information into his speech. We are both honored and thrilled to be involved in his speech!
The honors did not stop there though! We’d like to congratulate the ten branch managers from our group who were selected and recognized on their achievements this past year. These guys and gals have helped our clients increase their sales a ridiculous 1600% since the beginning of 2016. It is absolutely humbling to have our Fortune 100 clients fly in just to recognize what we have been able to do for them! Congratulations each of our managers!
An extra special shout out to our fearless leader, Cody. This is the seventh year in a row he personally has been singled out for what he has accomplished in Quarters 1-3. We could not be prouder or more honored to work with such a great leader!
Congratulations to all those who received recognition! 2017 is the year we take over!! We hope our clients are ready for this!

For the past several months, Coast to Coast has had a monthly “beast of the month” contest for all employees! In lieu of the Beast of the month contest for August, our managers decided to dangle an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas with our higher ups for the “beast”. Employees competed head to head from August to mid September to claim the high roller title! Judged not only on performance, but also punctuality, and preparedness, we have announced our winner!
In such a close race between the teams, it was decided that we have a tie! No doubt these two rock star employees have upped their game within the last month and definitely deserve to take part in the management retreat next month! Congratulations to both Corey and Jason in the Birmingham office!
These two corporate trainers have earned their flight (their first flight for one of them!!) and room and board at the Aria hotel and resort in Las Vegas, NV. Our team will be leaving the first week in October for several days! Once in Vegas, the guys and girls selected to attend will have a networking opportunity surrounded by tons of rest and relaxation! We hold this trip annually (check out last year’s photos on FB!) to help our top managers gear up for the busiest time of year- the fourth quarter! We know everyone will have a blast! Bring us back a t-shirt!

This past week our C2C management staff traveled to Dallas, TX for the annual leadership conference! Having our whole organization at one conference is always a special treat for us! Not to mention the networking opportunities that it brings! Taking off Monday after the office was wrapped up, our guys were pumped to meet our work family for some training and networking!
Once they arrived, the first day was more play that work (in true Coast to Coast fashion!) as the team explored Dallas. The second day in Dallas, our team attended the leadership conference led by the best of the best in the business! They covered topics ranging from how to manage different types of people, new material for our up and coming clients, as well as extra tips for the upcoming fourth quarter - which is our busiest time of year!
It makes sense that following this meeting, our managers have been PUMPED! They came back and led our team to on of the best weeks we’ve had this month! Great job team – we can’t wait to continue on this wave of excitement!

As the Coast to Coast Events continues to grow so do our results! We could not be prouder of our team as we SMASHED the record for most applications in a week! The record stood for TWO years, and our current Riverchase team blew it to bits!
Of course, when the results grow to such extremes, there is no doubt there will also people winning bonuses and earning promotions! We also have had the most people grow into management recently than we have before!! Congrats to Angela, Darius, and Wesley on their promotions to account manager! And a huge shout out to Corey for earning the title of corporate trainer!
With the best time of year on the horizon, we are SO excited to see where these new managers are able to lead our team! New clients, new offers and new excitement have set us up for success in the fourth quarter!!

This past month our C2C branches joined each other for our annual networking and leadership conference in Atlanta, GA! This conference is for the best of the best in our organization! They receive an all expenses paid trip to either Atlanta or Dallas for the opportunity to network with the regions best managers! Not only is it always fun and exciting, but it gives all in attendance a real leg up in their career. The topics range from compliance and client information to time management and leadership skills.
These conferences are always a wonderful way to come together as an organization as well. Now that we have extended our reach to include SIX states in the Southeast, it is rare that our whole group is together! Having the opportunity for all the branch managers to sit down with each other and brain storm on our upcoming goals and expansion is a great experience!
Congratulations to those who were awarded the opportunity to attend! These guys and gals also had the chance to rock out at Six Flags over Georgia the day before the conference, as well as spend some quality time at Top Golf the night before!

This week we had TONS of exciting bonuses to our marketing team to help celebrate the new offer we are able to provide our customers as well as our newest graduates from the training class!

The C2C team would like to take a moment and recognize our most recent Beast of the month! Claiming the title for the month of April, Steven is no stranger to the “top dog” position in our office and April gave Steven the perfect opportunity to show his skills to his team!
Steven was born in Little Rock, but lived a mainly nomadic life. Settling on the upper East Coast, in Connecticut and New York, Steven worked for several years as a paralegal, as well as in the marketing and promotions industries. During that time, on the side, Steven also spent much of his time and energy in producing music.
In 2014, Steven traveled to the Birmingham, AL area to visit his mother and found himself relocating. Shortly after, he joined the C2C team. With his background in marketing, Steven breezed through the training program and has since become a crucial part of our management team.
This past month he proved to the new members why he is part of the upper management team, by claiming not one but multiple contest 1st place slots! For the second year in a row, he claimed the number one spot of the C2C March madness bracket. This bracket includes representatives all across the Southeast region and gives them the opportunity to compete head to head. Knocking out his opponents at each level, Steven claimed $1,000 for his first place win! He has since also gotten his name on the comma club THREE times in the month of April, meaning his personal production earned him a paycheck of more than $1,000 for the week! Finally, he conquered the weekend contest and won two tickets to see Snoop Dogg in concert!
There is no doubt that Steven is a huge part of our C2C family and we are more than excited for him to reap the benefits of his hard work! We can’t wait to see who will take advantage of the May contest and prizes!!

Coast to Coast Events has done it again! We have added yet ANOTHER amazing perk of working with our team!
Yes, we still have weekly bonuses, the championship belt, among other semi-annual and annual trips for our team – but NOW there is also the BEAST OF THE MONTH contest!
Judged on daily results for the month as a whole, the point system is tracked and posted in the training room as the month goes on! March was the FIRST month we’ve done this contest and it was a close call! Decided by a fraction of a point – We are proud to announce JEFF as the first ever Coast to Coast Events Beast Mode winner!!
Congrats Jeff!! There is still time for April Beast to be claimed – but Steven is leading the pack!

Our team is growing at a ridiculous rate!! To make sure our guys and girls have the newest and most helpful information to help advance their career we traveled to Atlanta for a regional networking event!
Here, our Birmingham team was able to network with the rest of our organization, as well as the best of the best in the Southeast! We are honored to have been invited to this event for multiple years and are so grateful for the information we’re able to gain here. Our team learns about everything from how to increase their results on site, as well as the behind the scenes information like financial management, training and the interview process. Keep up the awesome student mentality team!! 2016 is our year!!
